cbm is about seeing through disability to ability.
cbm is about community that is enriched by all its neighbours.
cbm is about a world where everyone is valued as Jesus values them.
cbm Canada serves as the hands joining Canadians and people living with or affected by disabilities in the poorest communities – working together for the benefit of all.
A world in which people living with or affected by disability are:
- Valued as Jesus values them
- Accepted as equals
- Able to achieve their God-given potential
- We value all people as Jesus values them.
- We are accountable to God first, then our clients, donors and each other.
- We follow Jesus by doing acts of love.
- We work with integrity and communicate with honesty.
- We are committed to excellence in all we do.
IMPACT 2021 – cbm Canada’s 5-year strategy
There are 800 million people in our world caught in the poverty and disability cycle.
Impact 2021 is all about reaching more people in a more transformational way.
In order to achieve our Strategy, our Mission and ultimately our Vision for the world, we believe we need to be wildly successful at 5 things. These 5 strategic themes drive down into our strategic objectives and measures and into every staff member’s personal objectives and work plans.
1. IMPACT LIVES
More people with disabilities living in extreme poverty are able to achieve a significantly improved quality of life.
2. DONOR ENGAGEMENT EXCELLENCE
More passionate, generous, engaged donors who tell others about us, and who feel connected to us and our clients.
3. CHRISTIAN VALUES
Donors and clients are valued as Jesus values them, accepted as equals, able to achieve God-given potential, and see cbm Canada as a vital partner in their faith.
4. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Revenues are maximized and more lives are transformed in a cost-effective manner.
5. INNOVATIVE EXCELLENCE
New ideas and technology enable us to impact more lives, to save resources, to connect donors and clients, to help children and families in the hardest to reach places.
